Eurovia named ‘National Winner’ in prestigious european competition

EUROVIA has been named ‘National Winner’ in the 2019 European Business Awards, one of the world’s largest business competitions.

It was chosen from 2,753 businesses named as ‘Ones to Watch’ in a list of business excellence published in July and selected as a National Winner by a panel of independent judges including business leaders, politicians and academics. It is the best business in North Macedonia in the category Construction/Property and will now go on to represent North Macedonia in the final stage of the competition.

Founded in North Macedonia in 1978, EUROVIA has grown to become one of the Balkans leading construction contractors.

We specialize in complex and prestigious building construction and infrastructure projects.  Our portfolio includes some of the most developed landmarks, residential buildings, hospitals, theaters, commercial and industrial buildings. We have also constructed vital infrastructure and wastewater treatment projects, including water supply and sewage.

Our established contacts in the region, a highly skilled and dedicated team, our innovative methods and an exacting standard for completion have earned us a competitive edge well recognized in the industry.

The founding Ademi family still own and run the business. Core to EUROVIA are our values – ethics, safety, quality, people, culture, relationships, innovation and sustainability, and our covenants – integrity, respect, collaboration, trust, and delivery. They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver.

We have exacting HSE and sustainability standards and the health and safety of both our employees and the general public is given utmost priority.

With a staff of more than 150 employees, the company completes 7 million € of construction on 45 projects each year. EUROVIA offers clients the accessibility and support of a local firm with the stability and resources of a multi-national organization.

Longstanding relationships with our clients have played a significant role in providing outstanding construction contracting services to companies and government agencies across North Macedonia. With our continued commitment to development and change, we look forward to the future and all the challenges and opportunities that it will offer.

We always apply strict safety measures for our employees and continuously monitor their safety against risks in the workplace. We respect the technical procedures for health, safety and environment and strictly use protective clothing and signs in the construction site.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards said: “This is a significant achievement and EUROVIA is an outstanding leader in their field. To be chosen as a National Winner means you show great innovation, ethics and success and are one of the best businesses in Europe. We wish EUROVIA best of luck in the final round.”

EUROVIA will head to Warsaw, Poland on the 3rd and 4th of December to complete a final round of judging and attend both a Summit to engage in business issues, and the Gala Ceremony where the overall category winners for the 2019 European Business Awards will be announced.
